What is Coaches’ League
Five Lead Coaches (Nick, Jacob, Sami, Tim & Chloe) from First Tee – Orange County will each select 10 participants ages 7-18 to represent their team in a series of on-course competitive matches in 2025 (March-November).
Any FTOC Participant who was a part of at least 2 sessions of classes/camps in 2024 and will be at least 7 years old on March 23rd, 2025 is eligible to be selected to a team, but the tryouts are a great opportunity to showcase your skills. Players will get the chance to putt, chip, and hit on the driving range while having an opportunity to meet and talk with the coaches.
If your child is selected to play on a team in 2025, they will receive an email invite from their Lead Coach.
Age Groups
Participant’s Season Long Age is his/her AGE AS OF MARCH 23, 2025
| Age 7-9 | 2 Participants per team | Red Tees on Par 3, 200 yds on Par 4 & 300 yds on Par 5 |
| Age 10-12 | 4 Participants per team | Red Tees on Par 3, 300 yds on Par 4 & 400 yds on Par 5 |
| Age 13+ | 4 Participants per team | Females will play Red Tees & Males White Tees |

2025 Tentative League Fees:
- If your child accepts the invite, he/she/ your son/daughter will receive a team colored hat & polo to wear during competition ($50/player).
- All matches from 3/23-10/5 will be 9-holes in the late afternoon and will cost $30/player.
- The 18 hole matches on 10/12 & 10/19 will cost $50 while the finals on 11/2 will cost $100
