First Tee – Orange County is excited to announce a new 3-year program set to launch in January of 2025 open to Orange County youth. Girls on Greens is being modeled after our tremendously successful Teens on Greens program.

Girls on Greens was made possible through a grant awarded by the PGA Tour Superstore and H& H Lee Charitable Foundation.

Details

  • 3-year program
  • 20 Participants (new or current)
  • Participants need to currently be in Grades 7-9 (High School Graduation Years of 2028-2030).
  • Classes will be held once a month on Sundays from 2:00-5:00 pm, most often at Dad Miller Golf Course, Anaheim
  • The first class is set for Sunday, January 26th.
  • Your child may enjoy this program in addition to their regularly scheduled weekly classes. 
  • Cost: FREE (Valued at $1,850)

Program Perks

The Girls on Greens program will have academic, social, career, & mentoring aspects: time & help with homework, guest speakers, exploration of college/career opportunities, & more!

Year 1 (2025)

Monthly FTOC Golf & Life Skills Classes at no cost

Year 2 (2026)

Every other class will be held on the golf course to practice skills. Teens will receive a $400 gift card in December 2026.

Year 3 (2027)

Teens will compete in a series of competitive on-course events.

**At the end of the 3-year program (December 2027), one participant will receive a $3,000 college scholarship!

At this time, all interested participants will be emailed an application to fill out. The application will include questions about college/career aspirations, and personal references, and ask for a commitment to remain engaged with the program. If you would like to submit your child’s name to be considered for this AMAZING program (and if you would like to attend the November 24th meeting), please fill out the questionnaire by November 22nd at 5pm.
