How You Can Make a Difference
Assistant Coaches
Volunteers work with our Lead Instructors to teach both life skills and golf skills. Assistant Coaches work directly with kids and help in delivering First Tee Life Skills Experience.
Time Commitment: Classes run for nine weeks and require a 1.5 hour per week commitment. Classes are held Monday through Sunday.
Office Support
Volunteers are needed to assist with general office duties, including answering phones, data entry, and classroom and storage organization.
Time Commitment: Flexible
Events and Fundraising
First Tee – Orange County hosts and plans various events and fundraisers throughout the year. Assistance is needed for the execution of the events in a variety of capacities, including event planning, event set-up, assistance with registration, greeting guests and check-out.
Time Commitment: Flexible
“What I like most about being a junior coach is being able to help the younger participants and be able to mentor them, also their funny stories. I think it’s important to give back to the community because I wanted to share the same things that I learned at First Tee with others.”
– Coach Lillie, FTOC participant and Junior Coach
