FTOC Participant Airlia Selected for the Congaree Global Golf Initiative

We were thrilled to announce that First Tee – Orange County participant Airlia Leung was nominated and selected to join the Congaree Global Golf Initiative (CGGI) — a nationally recognized program dedicated to opening doors for talented, deserving student-athletes like her.

Founded in 2017, CGGI provided high school golfers with access to elite-level athletic coaching, world-class facilities, and the academic tools needed to pursue collegiate golf and beyond. With a 97% college attendance rate and over $6.3 million in scholarships earned by its participants, the program has a proven track record of turning potential into opportunity.

For Airlia, this was more than a one-week experience. As a CGGI participant, she joined a lifelong network of alumni, mentors, and Congaree Ambassadors who will continue to support her through her college career and into her early professional life.

We were beyond proud of Airlia and everything she worked for to earn this recognition. This was just the beginning.
