June 14 – Summer 30's & 40's Club Qualifying Event
Date: June 14
Location: Dad Miller Golf Course
The 30’s Club & 40’s Clubs are new golf-skill improvement classes reserved for those with advanced skills! In order to qualify for the class/club in the Summer, a participant must shoot 39 or below (for 30’s club) or 40-49 (for 40’s club) during a 9-hole qualifying event from 2,700 yds. (males) & 2,500 yds. (females). Any player (Age 7 & up) who has participated in an age-based life skills class in the past 12 months is eligible to tryout.
Time: Tee times starting at 3pm
Cost: $70/player to try out

NOTE: This Summer the 30’s Club & 40’s Club will split time between Rancho San Joaquin Golf Course (on-course) and the PGA Tour Superstore (practice) on Friday afternoons for as low as $30/session!!
June 16 – Spring 2025 Participant Golf Tournament
Date: Monday, June 16th
Time: Tee times starting at 4:00pm
Location: Lake Forest Golf Center
Cost: $40 per player
- Open to any 2025 Spring session participant
- Ages 7-8 Play 6 Holes; Ages 9 & Up Play 9 Holes
- Spectators and caddies ARE allowed ($5/person)
- Hot Dog/Burgers & a drink provided after tournament for all participants
- Limited to the first 40 participants
June 21 – Summer Kickoff Event at the Teen Center
Hosted by our Junior Coach Council- Join us for an afternoon of food & fun with friends.
- Saturday, June 21st from 1:00-3:00pm
- The center is open to any teen (ages 13-18) whether they are a part of First Tee – Orange County or not so sign up and bring your friends too! It is only $10/person and gives the teen access to the driving range, putting green, video games, foosball, pizza, and so much more!
- Want to Golf afterwards? Tee times are reserved beginning at 3:30pm. Email Program Director Jason Reddick at jason@thefirstteeoc.org to reserve your spot for just $10 more per player.
June 21 – FTOC Goes to the Angels Game
Date: Saturday June 21
Location: Angel Stadium; 6:38pm Game Time
- Bobblehead giveaway night and fireworks after the game
First Tee – Orange County has reserved a block of Field Level (Section 104; Rows V-Z) seats for the game. Come join other FTOC families, staff and volunteers and cheer on the Halos. Families can request up to 4 tickets at just $44/seat. Limited tickets available!!

Tuesday, July 29th First Tee – Orange County will be competing against several other Southern California First Tee Chapters at Brookside GC in Pasadena.
To qualify for the team, players must attend the tryout at Dad Miller on June 29th from 10:30am-12:30pm. The top 3-4 from each age division will automatically qualify for the event on July 29th.
(Any 2024/2025 participants Age 8-18 are eligible to join)

July 8-12 – Game Changers Academy
Date: July 8-12
Location: Minneapolis, MN
First Tee Game Changers Academy Honoring Joe Louis Barrow, Jr. presented by Amazon Web Services, Mayo Clinic and Topgolf Callaway Brands, is a five-day learning and empowerment academy. Participants selected to attend will participate in important conversations embracing topics of self-awareness, inclusivity, and community building. First Tee invites its partner, RISE, a national leader in the sports community championing social justice, to facilitate engaging and interactive workshops paired with introspective activities and reflections led by our nationally trained First Tee coaches.
This event is only available to teens involved in chapters of First Tee. Most of the events and programs have a selection process that includes an application reviewed by a committee. Location: West Creek Ranch in Emigrant, Montana
Host: First Tee and PGA TOUR Superstore
This event is only available to teens involved in First Tee chapters that are in PGA TOUR Superstore markets. The summit has a selection process that includes an application reviewed by a committee. September 16-21 – PURE Insurance Championship
Location: Pebble Beach, CA
The PURE Insurance Championship provides First Tee participants a national stage on which to showcase the skills and values they’ve learned at their chapter. Throughout the week, teens can network with peers, PGA TOUR Champions players and leaders from the business world who are competing in the amateur field, gaining exposure to the opportunities golf can provide both on and off the course.
