At First Tee – Orange County, we believe the game of golf is just the beginning. This year, 12 exceptional teens were hand-selected to take part in an empowering 5-week leadership series designed to help them dig deeper — not just into potential career paths, but into who they are and who they are becoming. The First Tee Leadership Series, in partnership with PGA TOUR Superstore is an engaging and empowering five-week series designed to provide teens the opportunity to build relationships with local PGA TOUR Superstore leadership, uncover their leadership values and strengths, identify potential careers based on those findings, and develop goals on how to attain their desired career path.
Presenting Their Future
Each participant took on the exciting challenge of researching and presenting a project centered around a potential future career path. From healthcare to entrepreneurship, engineering to the arts, the room was filled with vision, creativity, and ambition. The final class brought it all together as each teen stepped up to present their work in front of the group — a moment of courage, pride, and accomplishment for every single one of them.
Peer-Selected for the Summit
In a powerful display of mutual respect and trust, the teens peer reviewed each other’s presentations and collectively selected the top presentations to move forward. Those selected will earn an incredible opportunity to represent First Tee – Orange County at the PGA Tour Superstore Leadership Summit in Montana — an experience that will further ignite their leadership journey on a national stage.
