Rosie recently turned 11 years old and decided to donate her birthday money to First Tee – Orange County. Rosie has been a participant in the First Tee – Orange County program since January 2016, right before she turned 3 years old. Her golf clubs were bigger than her! Rosie has always had a passion for the First Tee program. Now as a mentor to the players in the program, Rosie is enjoying being a junior coach.
With her contribution, Rosie is now a donor as she is helping our fundraising efforts for our scholarship program which helps those families that may need financial assistance for their child to attend First Tee classes. Rosie’s parents, Patrick & Jen, are amazing, long term volunteers with our program. They were so moved by their daughter’s desire to donate her birthday money to First Tee – Orange County, they matched Rosie’s contribution.
