At First Tee – Orange County, our Ace program challenges teens to take an active role in planning their future — through hands-on projects that build real-world skills, invest in their communities, and prepare them for life beyond the course. This year, one of our proudest Ace stories belongs to Brayden, a First Tee – Orange County alumnus now attending California State University, Fullerton, who earned a perfect score on his Ace capstone project.
Brayden’s project centered on giving back to his community, with a focus on supporting the Fullerton Fire Department and the Fullerton Recreational Riders
“I learned from volunteering here how
influential my actions can be on people who look up to me, which built up my confidence. ” – Brayden B.
Through this project, Brayden put into action the very values First Tee teaches on the course — leadership, responsibility, and a commitment to service — and turned them into something tangible for the people and organizations who serve his community.
Brayden’s journey is a powerful reminder of what the Ace program is all about: helping teens leave First Tee not just with better golf skills, but with the confidence, vision, and real-world experience to take their next step — whatever that may be. We are incredibly proud of Brayden and excited to see where his path takes him next.
